Our Dermoscopy Course Director:

Dr. Ashfaq A. Marghoob is a dermatologist specializing in the diagnosis and management of cancers of the skin. He is the director of the Memorial Sloan-Kettering regional skin cancer clinic in Hauppauge, New York. He is committed to patient care, research, and education.

Dr. Marghoob has published over 400 articles in peer reviewed journals, has authored over 50 book chapters, and delivered countless lectures on topics related to melanoma, acquired melanocytic nevi, congenital melanocytic nevi and basal cell carcinoma. The focus of much of his research is on nevogenesis, melanomagenesis, and the early recognition of skin cancer by utilizing imaging technologies and dermoscopy.

Accreditation: This activity has been planned and implemented in accordance with the Accreditation Criteria and Policies of the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) through the joint providership of Rhode Island Hospital and New England Dermatological Society.  Rhode Island Hospital is accredited by the ACCME to provide continuing medical education for physicians.
