New England Dermatological Society (NEDS) is a not-for-profit educational organization whose members are physicians and scientists with a special interest in skin disease. We currently have almost 800 members from the six New England states.
NEDS provides financial support to academic dermatology training programs to host clinical and didactic meetings. With our academic affiliates, we hold three clinical meetings annually: one at a site of the Harvard University training program, one at the Boston University training program, and the third at another New England academic dermatology department. In addition, there is an annual didactic meeting hosted by another New England academic dermatology program. These meetings attract over 800 attendees annually. Lecturers at each event deliver state-of-the art presentations in their fields of expertise.
Our Mission is to provide opportunities for the exchange of information and for the advancement of knowledge of Dermatology among the dermatologists of New England and its environs.
